    My Story (in Brief)

Professional Voiceover Expertise: Whether it’s narrating a captivating historical documentary, voicing a compelling audiobook, or adding warmth to a corporate e-learning module, my goal is to connect with listeners in a friendly, believable, and memorable way.

Client-Focused Solutions: I understand that choosing the right voiceover should be simple, worry-free, and align with your budget and timeline. My priority is to make the process as smooth as possible, ensuring your project stands out with a voiceover that resonates.

Unique Skillset for Versatility: With a background in vocal music, ballet, acting, and teaching, I offer a distinctive and versatile delivery that engages audiences across genres. These experiences enable me to adapt to a variety of styles and tones, ensuring your project’s voiceover meets your unique needs.

Experience and Storytelling Perspective: Born and raised in Texas, I bring a rich tapestry of life experiences to my work, drawing on a deep love for history, music, and storytelling. From the historical halls of Medieval Europe to a campfire under the stars, I’ve always been captivated by stories— in my academic, professional, and personal life.

When I’m not behind the mic: If I’m not talking to myself in a booth,  you’ll find me camping, honing my barbecue and smoking skills, or playing guitar around a campfire. I’m also a dedicated family man, grateful for the support of my wife, Erica, and proud dad to my daughter Lily and my bonus adult kiddos, Will and Carly. Our home is rounded out by three lively dogs and a prickly cat who keeps us all on our toes.

    Frequently Asked Questions

I’m ready to move forward! What’s the next step?

That’s great to hear! If you’ve checked out my demos and are ready to get started, just click here to contact me. I’m looking forward to working with you!

Do you have set rates, or can we discuss my budget?

Absolutely, we can chat about your budget. My Rate Card is based on the GVAA Rate Guide. However, I’m happy to discuss your project and find a plan that works for both of us.

How do I make sure my script is the right length?

A good way to check is to read your script out loud with a timer before sending it over. Be realistic about what can fit in your desired time frame—if it’s tight for you, it’ll likely be tight for me too! 😉

How should I handle tricky pronunciations in my script?

For those odd words, names, or websites, it’s helpful if you spell them out phonetically. For example, let me know if you’d like me to say “dot O-R-G” or just “dot org.” That way, I can get it just right for you

Can I get a custom audition for my project?

Of course! I’m more than happy to provide a custom audition. Your satisfaction is key, and finding the right voice and delivery is part of that. Just click here to send over a sample of your script with clear direction regarding the type of read and delivery you’d like, click here and I’ll put together a short sample for you.

Can I request changes if the first read isn’t quite right?

Absolutely, it’s your project, and I want you to be totally satisfied. If you’d like to tweak the read or delivery, we can certainly do that. Just keep in mind that if the script changes, there may be an additional fee for retakes.

How will you deliver the final audio?

Email is usually the easiest way to deliver your audio, but if the file is too large, I can also send it via Dropbox.

    What’s your typical turnaround time?

Since I work full-time as a voice talent, I can usually turn projects around in 2-8 hours, depending on the length and when I receive the script. I always aim to deliver within 48 hours or less. For longer projects like eLearning, the delivery time may be a bit longer, but we can agree on a deadline that works for both of us.

Are you part of a union?

Not at the moment—I work independently.

What audio formats can you provide?

I can deliver high-quality audio in WAV or MP3 formats. If you need something different,  just let me know, and I’ll see if I can make it happen.
